For polished silver and gold jewelry, a simple polishing cloth should do the trick.

 

Avoid letting skin creams, hairspray, and even perfume come into contact with your jewelry.

 

Avoid wearing your jewelry while bathing, sleeping, or during heavy physical activity. Store your jewelry in a nice jewelry box.

Oxidized silver jewelry will slowly change color over time, leaving a beautiful antique silver patina.

 

For longevity, occasionally gently apply a thin layer of vaseline using a soft cloth.

 

Oxidation can be renewed using a sulfur solution at your local jeweler or at home.

 

The better care you take of your jewelry, the more you will enjoy it.
